Position Summary:
The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for the design, test, and implementation, of demand-generation marketing programs, lead-nurturing programs, firm hosted event campaigns (webinar, hybrid, and in-person), prospect/customer segmentation, and other automated communications programs using the Oracle Marketing Cloud (Eloqua) platform in conjunction with other 3rd party tools. The ideal candidate for this position must have deep experience with the Eloqua platform and an understanding of CRM software (Salesforce). This position will lead change management initiatives across the department by regularly consulting with and training users, as well as continually driving the adoption of best practices. The position requires strong understanding of technology integrations and process flow between Eloqua and other systems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Create and manage email marketing automation campaigns including campaign set-up, end-to-end testing of data within Eloqua and Salesforce, deployment, monitoring the campaign while active, and analysis with recommendations for improvement.
- Ability to create and manage multiple campaigns and segments at any given time.
- Advisor to Business Development & Marketing team explaining data flow between Eloqua and Salesforce for all campaigns and provide best practices for technology campaign set-up on a case-by-case basis.
- Provide technical support, training, feedback, guidance, and expertise to functional marketing team members and end business users.
- Manage and design web page forms and landing pages within Eloqua platform.
- Proactively monitor campaign execution and performance, addressing errors and failed calls as necessary.
- Maintain general housekeeping standards such as managing, auditing, and overseeing directory folder structures and asset naming consistency (segments, campaign names, canvases, reports, basic page tagging, etc.).
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders and technology & operations team to develop reporting processes and associated reports. This includes the creation of analyses and dashboards.
- Manage data integration between Eloqua and 3rd party platforms such as Zoom, SureShot, and Vidyard.
- Deploy Eloqua campaigns that utilize 3rd party apps for improved automation and scale.
- Analyze performance metrics, providing recommendations to improve effectiveness of emails, campaigns and segmentation.
- Provisioning of system accounts (username / password) to internal marketing clients in need of access to the tool
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least five (5) years of related work experience
- At least two (2) years of direct Eloqua experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Knowledge of Client Relationship Management (CRM) (Salesforce)
- Knowledge of marketing automation technology (e.g. Eloqua, Pardot, Marketo, etc)
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/WordPress
- Familiarity with data profiling, root cause analysis and quality improvement techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities

Expected Pay Range in Los Angeles & Orange County $79,000 – 99,000
Expected Pay Range in San Francisco & Silicon Valley $90,000 – 113,000

Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work.
