JOB OVERVIEW:


This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about many facets of the Grocery and Consumer Products business. The Marketing Coordinator will primarily support the product and channel development of Magnolia Bakery's growing Grocery/Consumer Packaged Goods business unit. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter with strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. This role will deliver a myriad of support across the team and be able to work across multiple internal cross-functional teams at Magnolia Bakery. This role will also support our growth strategy by supporting key projects, retailers, business channels, sales presentations/pitches, sampling, contract administration, and budget management.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day CPG marketing operations, including marketing strategy, retail paid media investments, retailer relationships, shopper marketing activations, coupon tracking, sampling, and more.
  • Develop integrated shopper program strategy for Grocery, Club, Emerging and C-Store accounts and broader channel needs.
  • Create and lead briefs with retailer, media, and shopper partners to communicate vision and objectives for retailer programming.
  • Own individual retailer KAMPs and support in providing insights and recommendations for annual marketing and trade planning.
  • Leverage data and insights to build shopper programs through tactics including loyalty, couponing, shopper media, etc.
  • Manage budgets and conduct post-program analysis
  • Communicate Grocery and CPG programming to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide concise meeting summaries for internal communication
  • Work seamlessly with internal departments, such as the Creative, Commercialization, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, Finance and Ops to deliver transparency and ensure timely development of plans
  • Conduct periodic market tours and competitive assessments, compile findings and make recommendations with fact-based support. Be aware of industry trends.
  • Provide support by compiling relevant materials for presentations, including overview presentations, category success stories, ratings, press stories, etc. to keep Magnolia Bakery top of mind and fuel retail success

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year experience required (strong internship experience considered)
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Self-starter that defines roles broadly and has a desire to learn.
  • Ability to think strategically.

  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, coworkers, and management.
  • Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
  • Position requires standing and walking for period of 3-5 hours without a rest break.
  • Occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, bending, and reaching overhead may be required.

Base Salary range of $65,000 - $75,000
