Your responsibilities for this position with PROSPERS LLC
As the Marketing Coordinator for Prospers, you will be responsible for a variety of marketing tasks that contribute to a shared vision and strategy for any given project, app, campaign, etc. We are much more focused on finding a candidate with the "skills you can't teach" such as work ethic, trustworthiness, punctuality, out-of-the-box thinking, motivation to succeed, competitive drive and willingness to take initiative. You would also be responsible for creating and delivering marketing data reports as needed (we try to keep these types of tasks to a minimum or automate them to create more efficiency and less tedious (ie boring work) for you. In summary of responsibilities, you would be expected to get after it and be willing to learn on the job while also being driven to contribute to the bottom line. Compensation based on performance is an option in a marketing role to the end that we can effectively track your work back to data and go from there.
Near-term drivers & roadmap tasks:
- Assist Creative Director with several new print-on-demand web properties that are to be launched in the coming weeks/months (60 days or less, preferrably 30 days or less)
- Sourcing and licensing designs from local artists or otherwise (e.g. a graphic designer found on IG or CreativeMarket, etc.)
- Following an outline of steps (will be provivded to you) to properly use the aforementioned artwork to be styled on items such as clothing, leather duffel bags and purses, canvas prints, stickers, etc.
- Performing some basic SEO tasks after the aforementioned products have been synced with the online stores (e.g. Shopify, Squarespace), these tasks will be outlined for you as well and you are free to ask any questions along the way to help better understand and learn as you go
- Helping prepare a social media content calendar, preparing creative assets for that content and scheduling out the posting of that content using a platform or app such as Hoosuite (but probably not Hootsuite, maybe Later or Buffer or similar) for posts on IG, FB, Pinterest and maybe some others (Snap, etc)
- Helping prepare marketing materials for digital marketing campaigns that would include things like text-based ads, video ads, graphics or otherwise. You will be provided with Adobe Creative Cloud access if you are familiar with those programs AND/OR access to our Canva Pro account (all of which can be taught on the job as long as you are savvy using a computer and are staying current with trends in design/fashion/digital marketing/apps/etc.)
- On the roadmap, the right candidate for this position would ideally be seeking to gain expertise while offering assistance in current ventures so as to grow your role in the company and create or manage entire projects on your own under the guidance (as needed) of the owner/creator of Prospers. We have several apps in development from a built-from-scratch platform for creators to sell any digital product, create/sell online courses and coaching/memberships, accept payments, generate an email list and landing pages along with a drag and drop store builder (this is all available via an API as well which will be more on the biz dev side to grow that side of the venture)
- Last note on roadmap is that we're looking for someone who has an entrepreneuerial spirit, a true desire to succeed and to win, a willingness to grind and be compensated for your efforts to the highest level you can take (no ceilings, no cap). Lastly, and importantly, the right candidate for this position that can demonstrate bringing value to the table will be considered for profit sharing and even equity (real shares not stock options) in our brands as we grow.
Some background information on PROSPERS LLC
Prospers is essentially an umbrella for creative thinking, innovation and profitable ventures that also benefit the general public. This organizaiton was founded by a serial entreprneur who has built and sold companies, one of which in the automotive title technology industry at a valuation over 50mm. The founder has been online since 2007/2008 and started by figuring out the Google ranking algo and becoming very good at SEO and then PPC and then building brands and companies, always focused first on the end user and their experience with any of the companies, products, services, apps or otherwise that they interact with.
PROSPERS is in a bit of a transitioning period after some unfortunate events related to the CTO of the company (will spare the details). We all are hoping the best outcome for him and his family at this time. However, we do have a lot going on and a lot to accomplish so if you are willing to work hard, take initiative, be open-minded and open to learning on the way (so long as you have a decent level of savviness with computers, mobile devices, apps, etc.) then we have a lot to build and see success with.
The hours for this role are going to be somewhat of a hybrid in that you will have a fairly flexible schedule and be able to work remotely part of the time. There will be times when in-person meetings and brainstorms are necessary whether it be during product development or any potential issues that can arise because they do whenever you're working with technology. The internet never sleeps.

As an aside, this is not a "corporate gig" and is more creative and entrepreneurial in nature. You can wear whatever you want so long as you are presentable and above all else respectful of the company's objectives and anyone we interace with along the way. To be transparent, the founder is a respectful, kind and generous individual that may seem otherwise based on his tattoos, streetwear attire, music production hobby, etc etc. He was born and raised in South Florida, and is easy to work with and has a lot to share in terms of knowledge so long as you are willing to put in the grind time because he is very hard to keep up with in terms of work ethic, but understanding of personal space and time that is needed to properly keep up with demands of a fast-paced, ever-evolving role in this industry.
