Ease Learning is looking for a dynamic individual to join our growing marketing team. This position supports revenue generation by creating awareness and demand for Ease Learning’s service and software. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, mission-driven and motivated by our challenge of fixing higher ed. What we do has an impact on students, colleges and universities and society as a whole!
This role will work in close partnership with our CEO and will help drive leads to support our sales team, increase visibility and build brand recognition in our target markets. This person must have a track record of marketing success and have marketing experience in the B2B space (ideally with a services and/or software company)
We are looking for a generalist with at least 5 - 8 years of experience who can wear many hats, balance multiple responsibilities, has a sense of urgency, is goal and results oriented, meets deadlines and has a positive attitude.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
- Outstanding writing skills (writing samples will be asked for those being interviewed)
- Executing and reporting on marketing campaigns and evaluate results
- Working experience using advanced features of Hubspot
- Establishing and tracking against marketing goals and KPIs
- Managing all aspects of outbound marketing using a marketing platform or ESP, experience with Hubspot is a plus
- Optimizing marketing results by channel and audience
- Develop strategies and tactics to drive qualified leads
- Organizing and maintaining website and landing pages
- Implementing SEO, PPC, and Web analytic strategies
- Managing social media including creating and posting content
- Developing strategies around tradeshow and event participation
- Managing webinars, from topic generation, attendee recruitment to post-event followup and everything in between
- Developing campaigns aligned to the different stages of the pipeline
- Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to identify new lead channels
Additionally the following skills are key to this position:
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software such as HubSpot Marketing and Bitrix24.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
- Has a blend of creative and analytical skills
- 5-10 years of experience working in marketing roles
- Has a willingness to learn from and collaborate with other team members
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
Ideally:
- Marketed a product with a long sales cycle, worked with sales to unstick opportunities
- Worked in a solo or small department where they were exposed to lots of different marketing
- Can show they were self starters not reliant on their manager for direction
Not ideal:
- Marketed a transactional product or one that is sold almost exclusively from an online presence
- Marketed a manufactured product (i.e. if they sold servers or microchips)
- Worked at a large company where they had a focus on only one aspect of marketing
- Only worked in B-to-C marketing
