Marketing Manager Job at Nolan Power Group
General Summary:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for all marketing related activities for the company. This includes internet presence, internet/direct marketing campaigns, creation and maintenance of all collateral materials including product literature, labels, manuals, etc and managing of any external advertising/media. The marketing manager will work with business unit leaders to develop and execute customer segmentation and focused marketing strategies related to each business units selling strategy. There is a heavy emphasis on leveraging our web presence through SEO analytics, and use of AdWords to ensure “page one” placement for customer searches. The marketing manager will also be heavily involved in the creation of various direct marketing campaigns including development of the marketing materials, email lists, Drip marketing strategy, lead management, and follow-up, analysis and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
Includes but not limited to:
Internet:
- Design, implement, and facilitate annual direct marketing plan for the organization
- Create/manage email campaigns, newsletters, etc. including design, layout and execution
- Develop strategies to increase branding and create market opportunities
- Analyze, refine and improve use of SEO and AdWords
- Manage and/or develop CRM programs/processes
- Develop and oversee customer database and prospect database and lists
- Monitor and analyze day-to-day performance metrics (opens, clicks, RFQ, revenue) to identify actionable areas for optimization
- Deliver weekly business results, analysis, campaign wrap up reports and make recommendations for improvements and actions to improve programs
- Social media, blogs, etc. development
Marketing Materials:
- Collaborate/create/design printed and electronic materials including product literature, cut sheets, catalogs, labels, etc
- Work with vendors who supply all collateral materials including negotiation and quality of service
- Design and purchase of promotional items
- Collaborate with department business leaders for internal forms development
- Advertising & Promotion
- Create Ad/Media Schedules
- Create Ad Copy/Artwork for submission
- Negotiate with various media outlets for purchase and placement
- Trade Show Design (booth, graphics, logistics, etc)
Education
College degree with emphasis in Marketing, Business or Communications preferred
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in a direct marketing environment
- Internet marketing campaign development
- Experience working in a distributor or cataloger environment
- Ecommerce experience/email marketing
- Database and CRM software experience for lead management
- Experience with managing leads and lead programs.
Skills and Ability:

- Creation of marketing materials including literature, cut sheets, labels, manuals,
- Execution of various marketing strategies including drip marketing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Graphic design skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
- Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Experience with customer relationship management software.
- Computer literacy (i.e., CRM, Microsoft Office, Magento, etc.)

This position will have regular contact with the following positions: Sales Management, Sales Reps, Customers and vendors

None to occasional overnight travel for trade shows, etc.
