Overview:
The Break Time Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing the Break Time loyalty program and performing a variety of tasks to support the successful completion of planned marketing programs for Break Time Convenience Stores. This position provides customer service, assists in the development, print and distribution of marketing collateral, manages the company’s loyalty program, coordinates social media presence, and assists with other digital outlets including mobile app and website.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Break Time loyalty program, including identifying and implementing methods to grow participation, coordinating with the loyalty provider to add and update rewards and resolve issues, assisting with store and customer questions, measuring program success and refining as needed
  • Monitor product changes to ensure appropriate updates within the loyalty program
  • Regularly monitor and update content on social media sites for Break Time, the Break Time website, and in the Break Time mobile app, ensuring information and other content is accurate, current and visually pleasing
  • Monitor and respond to Break Time customer feedback through social media sites where Break Time maintains a presence, as well as feedback on Google, company website and application, and Break Time e-mail inbox
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns
  • Work closely with the in-store collateral development team to create advertising materials for retail location sales floors, to include ordering, printing, and shipping to each store based on need
  • Manage membership and monitor content on Break Time’s closed Facebook group for store employees
  • Follow posted work schedule and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked
  • All MFA Oil employees are expected to know and adhere to company and position specific policies and procedures. While this job description contains the primary duties of the position, employees may be expected to perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a marketing role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including active listening, and the ability to professionally interact with a diverse group of people
  • Excellent writing skills, including ability to convey material concisely using proper grammar
  • Thorough understanding of a variety of social media sites, including a command of each network and their best practices
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery including Microsoft Office products and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Some travel expected to company sites and to trainings, trade shows, store visits, and meetings, some of which will be overnight
  • Ability to exchange accurate information verbally and in written form with the customers of MFA Oil in English
  • Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States of America
