Material Flow Scheduler
Houston, TX (hybrid role 2 days a week remote)

Role Purpose:
§ Responsible for scheduling & executing within the boundaries of the plan related to material flow while
following evaluating day to day operational performance of all Material Flow activities
§ Develops a cost minimized tool supported schedules for packaging and storage facilities and provides
feedback on schedule feasibility to production scheduling and supply planning
§ Responsible for availability on packaging level
Area of responsibility
Requirements:
§ Maintaining the availability with packing & purchasing schedule according agreed demand (APSA) and SS levels,
o converting the planned orders / requisitions in time with the references needed (process order on purchase order),
o communicating the required packing plan towards LSP´s,
o checking confirmations sent from Baystar and updating PO´s & packing schedules when needed, and (when Baystar has confirmed) creating inbound deliveries,
o Updating the relevant info´s & references to inbound deliveries and to related packing orders,
o Performing mvmt 107 (MIGO) to inbound delivery upon RC departure from Baystar (change of ownership of the material Baystar ->BCI) and mvmt 109 upon arrival to destination in case no link to SAP set with the recipient plant.
o Updating and processing the packing orders once manipulation document is sent by the packagers
o RC & Lease track follow up via relevant websites
§ Creating Service PO´s , creating and downloading templates (yearly) and also uploading templates for LSP´s invoicing (monthly)
§ Performing inventory corrections when needed & performing monthly stock checks against LSP stock reports,
§ Blocking and releasing of the stock when needed,
§ Starting & participating to the waiver process when needed
§ Monitoring the stock development and inventory health:
o Non Prime offering, slowmovers, stock targets, excess stock, FIFO
§ Maintaining Material Master records and recipes within respected plants
§ Informing relevant stakeholders (CSR´s, OFC´s, 3rs party Scheduler, DRE´s, DP´s and SP´s) in case availability issues occur
§ Placing & removing ZZOCH –blocks if needed (in supply crises)
§ Maintaining SS (stock, set up & disaggregation) and informing relevant parties whenever SS is in (partially/fully) use and when it will be replenished.
§ Checking and reacting to BOP orders
§ Maintaining packaging material availability via purchase process towards suppliers (forecasts, PR´s PO´s etc),
§ Agreed VERP´s: FFS films and octabin parts.
§ Monitoring the capacity use of the packagers balancing the capacity use according to agreements (monthly/quarterly, way of working not yet aligned)
§ Performing SASU balancing for ST and informing relevant parties (DRE´s, DP´s and SP´s) about foreseen availability issues via SASU feedback file during SASU round. Copying manually the new plan (created by heuristics runs in SIM) with agreed volumes from Baystar from SIM to Active.
§ Performs inventory control for all materials at the location and supports internal and external audits.
§ Delevery product availability on time and at the right package
§ Provides material forecast and call-offs to suppliers and leads the material flow related claim handling process.
§
§ Detailed silo and packaging schedule and stock placement at the location.
§ All decisions contributing to the operational continuity and continues improvement of Material Handling
Activities
Education
§ Bachelor degree (business/logistics oriented education) and/or 1 to 3 years’ experience (preferably within the Supply Chain area)
§ English: advanced knowledge, spoken and written
Experience
§ Minimum 1 to 3 year experience (preferably in business or supply chain area)
§ Familiar with logistics
§ Computer skills, MS office applications and preferably SAP
§ Solid professional know-how in S&OP, preferentially through being responsible of different steps of S&OP
process in the past
§ SAP-APO general and PPDS tool knowledge.
§ Good analysis and conceptualisation skills, supporting fact based decision making and business case
preparation.
§ Solid presentation skills based upon an ability to compile analyses and propose solutions.
§ Strong influencing skills, being able to translate complex situations into simple terms. Sets direction, engages
and inspires people
