Blair Rubber Co. is the manufacturer of and worldwide supplier of roofing membranes and ancillary products, and rubber linings which protect vessels and equipment from corrosion and abrasion in the harshest chemical environments. We deliver the shortest lead times in the industry and utilize the highest equipment technology to support our process.

Shift will be Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm

We are located at 5020 Enterprise Parkway, Seville, OH 44273.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations
  • Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy
  • Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids)
  • Maintain raw materials and packaging and outside yard
  • Comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Ensure that all receipts are QA approved before they are released to bin location
  • Ensure all raw materials are properly labeled and identified
  • Keep outside yard organized, drains/docks clean and free of debris
  • Keep raw materials areas clean and organized
  • Monitor oil waste and dip waste and communicate to management when it needs removed
  • Ensure all barrel tops are free from oil
  • Perform inventory controls while keeping high quality standards
  • Report inventory discrepancies to management
  • Work closely with production and help out as needed
  • Attend any training that may be needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Preform other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Working in an environment where various rubber, adhesives, grease, oils, carbon black, steam and industrial manufacturing machines are used is a requirement of this job role when working on projects


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum High School education or equivalent – Required
  • Fork Lift license and certification - Preferred


SKILLS

  • Use of RF scanners or willing to learn
  • Maintain high standard for personal and equipment sanitization methods and practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Take initiative to identify and resolve problems

  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds minimum at a time
  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping
  • Good hand dexterity
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
  • Understand units of measure in standard, metric, PSI and temperature
  • Comprehend information and ideas presented verbally or in writing
  • Use effective time management to ensure that tasks and projects are completed within agreed time limits
