Material Verification & Gage Standards Lab Manager (Onsite)

The P&W Asheville Quality Organization is looking for a motivated, technically oriented leader to fill the Asheville Material Verification & Gage Standards Lab Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:

• The leader of this lab will be responsible for leading a diverse team that will support the Asheville business with Material Control Lab (MCL), Non-Destructive Test (NDT), Metrology, and Calibration functions.
• The lab manager will provide daily leadership to the lab team and ensure flawless delivery support to the operations customer.
• If you are looking for a hands on, technically challenging leadership role in a progressive and growing organization, this role is for you.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
• Requires deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments.
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
