Mechanical Design Engineer Job at Insight Global
You will be responsible for the design and systems analysis of gear systems and other applications such as drives and power generation. Along with design, you will assist in the troubleshooting of equipment such as bearing design and housings. Strong understanding of analytical software tools and working experience using CAD software or CREO is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 3+ Years of Professional Experience within Gears, Transmissions, Actuation, or Similar related industry preferred.
- CAD Experience – CREO Preferred or SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, Ansys, etc.
- Experience working with Gears and Gearboxes
- 3+ Years of Experience in Professional Engineering Design
- Must be local/willing to relocate to Park City, UT, Las Colinas, TX, Valencia, CA, Seattle, WA and Macomb, MI
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Experience Working /Designing High-Speed Gears and Gearboxes
- Aerospace Industry Experience
- Professional Experience working with CREO
- Experience working with Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Master's and/or Professional Doctorate in Engineering
- Lead Experience - (LEAD POSITION AVAILABLE)
