The candidate selected for this position will:

• Assist lead Engineer through project design and construction.
• Design HVAC and/or Plumbing systems. Produce drawings containing equipment layouts, ductwork and piping plans, sections, details, and schedules.
• Assist with calculations, such as duct static, pump head, and load calculations.
• Assist with equipment selections for units such as air handling units, VAV boxes, fan coil units, and pumps.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure design is coordinated and clash-free.
• Participate in field surveys to document existing conditions, collect dimensions, and create sketches.

The Mechanical Designer should demonstrate:

• Great work ethic
• Strong analytical reasoning skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills for managing communications with peers, colleagues, and clients

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or similar degree with courses relevant to drafting or engineering principles
• 4+ years of Mechanical design experience
• Experience using Revit
• Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Trane Trace 700 preferred
• Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States
• Candidate must be eligible to obtain a security clearance
