Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supervision of self-administered medication to Assisted Living residents, following the guidelines provided by Senior Lifestyle Corporation. This position reports to the Assisted Living Director and/or the Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for supervision of self-administered medication for the Assisted Living

Department in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior LifestyleCorporation guidelines as directed by the LPN/LVN/RN and/or the Assisted LivingDirector/Health and Wellness Director.

• Report any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation to the

LPN/LVN and/or Assisted Living Director/Health and Wellness Director.

• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff as requested by supervisor.
• Understand role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co- workers.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements: Level of Formal Education: A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceArea of Study: GeneralYears of Experience: at least 1 monthType of Experience: In a skilled, sub-acute, or memory care settingSpecial Certifications: May require state specific training or certificationLanguage Skills: Technical Competencies: Basic computer skillsSkills and Ability:
