Media Planning Director
Media Bridge Advertising is an agency in Minneapolis, MN, that combines media buying and creative services to help clients of all sizes grow and win. We are seeking a highly experienced full-time Media Planning Director to provide multi-faceted administrative support and assistance to members of our Media Team. This person will typically work onsite at our office in the North Loop area of Minneapolis.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS A PLANNING DIRECTOR
- Analyze data, think creatively and design innovative strategies to make sure client marketing campaigns reach their target audience in the most effective way possible
- Manage Media Planners and help to build Planning team
- Assess impact and suitability of different media types used to target certain markets based on their clients' needs and wants
- Recommend various options for media plans based on client's objectives
- Analyze the client's post-campaign results and recommend refinements
- Interact with internal and external partners to evaluate, implement, and maintain a media plan
- Collect and analyze information on different media channels, such as print, television, radio, OOH, and paid digital media
- Create or recommend certain media strategies to attract and retain customers, increase the client's brand recognition, and maintain and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Prepare and present media plans to internal Brand Managers and/or clients for plan approval and alignment
- Working closely with clients and/or Marketing Strategists to understand their needs, wants, and objectives, and then determine which media channels fit best for specific campaigns
- Remain at the forefront of new media and related marketing trends/media tools and educating our Media and Marketing teams on these new media trends and tools
- Acting as the expert for all in-house media tools
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising Marketing, or Communication strongly preferred; highly relevant experience may be considered as a substitute for the degree requirement
- 4+ years of experience in Media Planner or similar role
- Knowledge and experience working with MRI Simmons, Local and National NMI, Media Mix, Nielsen ratings, and other relevant media tools
- Knowledge and experience with analytical tools and campaigns evaluation metrics
- Knowledge and experience with competitive research tools such as Media Monitors, iSpot, and Media Radar preferred
- Ability to communicate and work efficiently and effectively across departments
- Ability to interface with our reporting team to glean insights from our outputs and KPIs as well as the ability to to see trends directionally from pulling their own data
- Ability to maintain an organized workload and meet predetermined deadlines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
TYPICAL SCHEDULE
This is a hybrid position that would typically be on-site an average of 3 days per week
