We are a growing pediatric office in Santa Maria, currently looking for a medical assistant with pediatric experience to join our team. Our office is offering an immediate, FULL-TIME position with excellent pay and benefits.
Skills and Experience:
- MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH
- Complies with HIPAA regulations in all interactions with internal as well as external entities
- EMR systems experience (Office practicum preferred) data input of detailed patient medical information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform all tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent phone and customer service skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and follow up
- Record patient vitals and history
- Administer vaccines
- Perform lab testing
- Hearing and vision testing
- Interpretation between provider and patient
- Must be a team player
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
- Punctual and reliable
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduation from an Accredited School in Medical Assistant
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
- Must be available for varying 8 hours shifts or more (Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm)
- Bilingual
Salary and Benefits:
- Based on experience
- Annual pay increases based on performance

This is a privately owned practice that offers opportunity for advancement.
