We are looking for an outgoing, task oriented individual to join our expanding practice to work as a medical assistant in the back office.
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and to give our patients the best experience possible including chart prep, vitals, skin testing, allergy and more!
You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Schedule would be M-F-8:15-5:30
Responsibilities
Provide efficient assistance to patients:
- Providing exceptional care to our pediatric and adult patients
- Prior authorizations assistance
- Skin testing
- Administer allergy shots, spirometry testing and allergy testing
- Vitals
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
- Quick learner
- Team player
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
