Tricity Pain Associates P.A. is a Texas based, multi-site comprehensive pain management company. We are seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for our San Antonio location. This position will help us with our continued growth so we can continue to provide top notch care. The CMA will provide quality service to our patients and support the medical team. We are seeking candidates that can function in an interactive and fast paced environment, all while providing dynamic customer service!

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
- Medical Assistant Certification (i.e. CMA through AAMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA)
- 1+ year of recent full time clinical experience.
- C-arm experience a big plus
- Bilingual in Spanish a big plus
- Pain Management experience would be great
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Urine drug screen testing.
- Medication Refills.
- Check in and Check out patients.
- Collecting and recording vital signs.
- Complete intake forms for existing and new patients.
- Triage Patients.
- Room patients for Provider.
- Ensure all patients are communicated with when Provider is delayed.
- Relay patient messages to the Provider.
- Assist in the patient experience utilizing AIDET principles.
- Assist in keeping the office a clean and pleasant environment. This will include straightening up the working area periodically throughout the day.
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
