Full Time - Medical Billing Specialist
Northeast Internal Medicine is a fast-paced Internal Medicine Office looking for an experienced, motivated, and reliable Medical Billing Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
· Work claim issues and report to supervisor
· Review and correct denied insurance claims
· Help patients with billing questions or concerns
· Follow up in aging of insurance claims and self-pay accounts
· Maintain knowledge of new billing practices and procedures
Requirements:
· Medical Billing experience preferred, with knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT.
· Ability to Multi-task through many responsibilities in a day.
· Individual must have good phone and people skills.
· Computer and internet skills are required.
· Knowledge of Epic is helpful but not a must.
· Medical Coding would be useful
Wage is depending on experience.
