Medical Collection Specialist with second language skills Job at IQC

The successful applicant will obtain reimbursement from international patients and insurance companies for outstanding hospital invoices. Full training is given. Flexible work schedule allowing work remote and in Office. Excellent prospects for growth. Fluency in Spanish and English a must.
Job Duties:
- Collecting medical invoices from insurance companies and patients who are international visitors to the USA.
- Make outbound calls and send written correspondence to insurance/patients.
- Use Industry knowledge to negotiate quick payments and higher settlements with both insurers and patients. (full training will be given)
- Obtain payments from uninsured patients.
- Develop relationships with international insurance companies in order to resolve invoices successfully.
- Ensure that all account activity is accurately maintained on a database.
- Comply with all relevant legislation such as HIPAA, FDCPA etc
- Handle incoming e-mails/telephone calls from clients and other vendors.
Skills/qualifications needed
- Excellent written/spoken English and Spanish
- Associates degree
- Good understanding of different cultures and geography outside of USA.
- Tolerant, courteous and excellent customer service/ telephone skills
- Willingness and ability to learn as full training will be given
- Problem solving skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to adhere to industry guidelines whilst still achieving individual targets, HIPAA and FDCPA
- Target orientated.
- Attention to detail

- Basic salary Estimated earnings between min $43,000.00 to $70,000.00 depending on experience and ability. Salary negotiable.
