Medical Director

The Medical Director will work with the Corporate Medical Officer, Executive Leadership, Advanced Providers, and the clinical team to ensure the quality of care across all MedRite Urgent Care centers.
The Medical Director Reports to the Corporate Medical Director.

Job Description:
The Medical Director will:
- Lead medical and provider development, team building, and mentoring for the designated region.
- Provide direct care to patients of all ages who present to our centers for routine maintenance and a wide variety of urgent medical complaints.
- Provide direct and remote supervision to a clinical team, including PA's Radiologic Technologists and Medical Assistants.
- Evaluate medical knowledge, documentation, patient care, compliance with company policies, and quality improvement activities, including chart reviews, mentoring, and skills training.
- Provide and supervise occupational health services, including pre-employment screening exams, evaluation and treatment of workplace injuries, and DOT physicals.
- Work closely with executive leadership to develop ad implement strategies that enhance patient care.
- Participate in leadership committees and work groups to advance organizational goals.
- Take calls from other providers who may need guidance with patient diagnostics, treatment, or other medical questions.
- Stay abreast of current medical diagnostic and treatment modalities to ensure the highest quality patient care.

.Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in medicine and board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with the ability to treat patients of all ages.
- Extensive clinical experience in urgent care centers and emergency departments.
- Experience treating or managing care for a culturally diverse inner-city population.
- Medical Doctor and board certification in chosen primary care specialty of Internal Medicine,
Family Medicine.
- Results-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Pay: $156,075.67 - $311,942.74 per year
