Nao Medical is experiencing significant growth and expansion and is seeking a Medical Director( M.D./D.O. only) to direct the clinical delivery and coordinate the activities of physicians, advanced practice clinician, clinical staff, and clinical operations. We are seeking someone credible, honest and authentic who is a strong collaborator and works to empower others.
The main responsibilities of the Medical Director will include:
- Holds the senior medical administrative position in our medical group practice
- Responsible for a number of activities related to the delivery of medical care and clinical services such as cost management, utilization review, quality assurance, infection control and medical protocol development
- Oversees the activities of the clinical staff, including the recruiting and credentialing processes, training, ongoing education and performance management.
- Reports to the CEO of the organization on the status of our clinical delivery.
- Monitor the quality and appropriateness of medical care.
- Provide guidance and leadership for performance guidelines
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Manage strategic development
- Oversee clinical peer review
- Oversee documentation and care planning
- Manage provider relations and/or representation
- Handle clinical patient complaints
- Address emergency issues
- Support provider education by means of regular meetings etc.
- Manage community relations
- Handle provider behavior and impairment issues
