The 90 Degree Benefit team is expanding as our clients need us now more than ever. Our Houston Office is conveniently located in Katy, Texas just off Highway 99 and Westpark Tollway.
The latest 90 Degree Benefits opportunity is for an Operations Manager in the Houston office reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The Operations Manager will lead our Medical Helpline team of experienced clinical and non-clinical staff. This group serves employees and employers by guiding them through the complexities of healthcare. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
· Determine, document, and communicate team goals and expectations.
· Measure employee productivity through performance analytics.
· Leverage available tools to best serve our members and clients.
· Manage integrations with other departments.
· Support sales with brokers, clients and prospects by assisting with requests, product promotion, meetings, calls, etc.
· Oversee client implementation to Medical Helpline.
· Prepare, maintain, and communicate department policies and procedures.
· Obtain and ensure all licensing is current and up to date.
· Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations.
· Obtain URAC (Utilization Review Accreditation Commission) or NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) accreditation to help ensure the highest quality of specialized clinical services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in management, operations required
- Experience in medical terminology, benefits/health insurance, case management, utilization review, or healthcare are preferred.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Ability to process information accurately and promptly.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in a customer/client service environment.
