Medical office Biller Job at Somerset Pediatric Group
Manage patient accounts, determine correct billing codes, clean claim submission/follow up, ability to read EOBs and payment posting. Knowledge of insurance plans. Ability to interact with parents, insurer and staff in a professional manner. Ability to take direction and follow policy. Enters and reviews posted charges and makes corrections. Ensures accuracy of claims prior to submission to clearinghouse, reviews batch reports and corrects rejected claims, reviews denials and non-payments, posts patient and insurance payments and adjustments. Responds to patient inquiries. Provides excellent customer service. Abides by HIPAA guidelines. Knowledge of medical practice essential. Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding. Pediatric billing experience a plus, but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
