Description:
The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center is a freestanding ACR-accredited cancer center treating 30-60 patients a day on two Elekta Agility linacs. A wide range of treatment modalities is offered including 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, etc.
Department equipment includes MOSAIQ R&V, Toshiba Aquillion Large-Bore CT simulator with 4DCT, GE Discovery MI DR PETCT scanner, Pinnacle TPS (planning to be replaced in the near future), MIM Maestro. There is also a full complement of physics equipment.
Primary responsibilities will include machine calibration, QA, chart checks, SBRT treatment planning, radiation safety, and the development and implementation of new procedures and technology.
The successful applicant will be part of a team of two Physicists, two Dosimetrists, and three Physicians.

Requirements:
The ideal applicant will be board-certified with at least five years of clinical experience. Graduates of a CAMPEP-approved residency program pursuing board-certification will also be considered. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are a must.
