YOUR LIFE AS AN MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

This customer service / health care position enjoys a rewarding work-life-balanced schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

As a receptionist, you arrive at the clinic each day ready to ensure that our patients and their family members are being heard and are receiving the best customer service possible. You work closely with the office manager to ensure maximum efficiency without compromising patient satisfaction. The good rapport you create with patients is one of the reasons they know they are in caring hands in our clinic.

With attention to detail, you cheerfully answer inquiries, take accurate information for patient pre-registration, arrange for referrals, and schedule appointments. Occasionally, you contact insurance providers to verify coverage and benefits. The office manager depends on you to fulfill a variety of other assignments and projects, some of which require travel within the city. You enjoy interacting with our patients and staff and love keeping busy with a variety of fulfilling tasks. You feel great about ensuring that our patients are well cared for and that everything runs smoothly!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor's degree OR health care certification
• 1+ years of experience
• Exceptional telephone skills
• Basic computer skills with the ability to type 50+ WPM as well as proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
• Knowledge about HIPAA regulations
