Medical Receptionist Job at Premier Physical Therapy Volusia
Job description
We are a busy Outpatient Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Clinic with multiple locations in Volusia county. Requirements of position include but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients and other visitors to our office.
- Answer patient questions and provide assistance when necessary.
- Using multiple line phone system.
- Utilize our office software to schedule appointments for our patients and use multiple line phone system.
- Register new patients, update records as necessary.
- Verify Insurances, Request Authorizations
- Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and collect deductibles and co-pays.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient records.
- Ensure that the waiting room environment remains clean and welcoming.
- Maintain a positive outlook by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Be able to multi-task and able to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: From $15.00 per hour
