Job Description:
The Medical Records Support position will be responsible for a variety of tasks including collecting patient information, issuing medical files, filing/organizing medical records, etc. They ensure medical records are maintained in a manner compliant with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements of the medical services system. Daily responsibilities include:
This postion will be onsite ONLY at our Boca Raton, Florida office
Gathering/sourcing and preparing medical records to be sorted for review- Ensuring that the medical records are organized, accurate and complete
- Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with the HIPAA standards
- Transferring data into main system database
- Communicating with clients/providers, generally utilizing several different sourcing programs to obtain records
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
