MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION DRIVER

Western NC Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). We are committed to caring for our patients with purpose and integrity and providing our team members with the support they need.

We are looking for a Full-Time Medical Transportation Driver to join our growing team!

RESPONSIBILITIES- Includes but not limited to the following:

• Provide transportationof non-emergency or urgent care patients/clients to and from scheduled medical appointments
• Assist patients/clients in and out of the vehicle, and to provide necessary escort services at their pick-up point and at the appointment site
• Transport patients to include dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical offices, and their private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year experience as a driver for a transportation, social service agency or church
• Must pass a mandatory criminal background and motor vehicle check
• Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred, but not required

CERTIFICATIONS (S) / LICENSURE

• Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s license
• CDL License within 12 months of hire
