We are seeking a Lead Medicare Sales Trainer to join our growing team!
- Train new agents on sales practices, Medicare knowledge, Medicare products, compliance, systems and company procedures
- Prepare new employees to be successful sales agents through consistent and effective training, feedback and coaching
- Support and coach agents during nesting to help them achieve their quality and sales performance goals
- Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure a smooth transition from training to the sales floor
- Set clear expectations and manage classroom behaviors during live training events, nesting and meetings
- Report on agent performance highlights and opportunities and develop and execute action plans to address performance gaps
- Manage and report attendance and HR issues on a daily basis
- Review and approve time cards and time off requests
- Help create and review training agendas and content; suggest improvements as needed
- Observe, support and coach new trainers; lead train-the-trainer programs
- Collaborate with department leadership to build training resource and capacity plans
- Provide back up support for classroom and administrative tasks when needed
- Understand organizational strategy and execute plans that deliver high performing talent
- Understand training effectiveness metrics; review metrics and with management, develop plans to address opportunities
- Support activities outside of training and nesting that contribute to the overall success of the organization, i.e. support or lead sales manager teams when necessary, take consumer calls during peak season and as a regular part of professional development
- Help build on and maintain team morale and culture
A qualified candidate must possess:
- Must have at least two years experience as a Medicare sales trainer; experience with multiple carriers is a plus
- Must have an in depth knowledge of Medicare products and regulations
- Proven ability to deliver training, engage learners and manage distractions to allow for an effective learning environment
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- A passion for coaching and developing people to their full potential
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly dependable with a professional demeanor and inclusive mindset
- A strong sense of urgency and ability to cope with rapid change in a high pressure environment
- A competitive drive to succeed; you enjoy being a part of a team and value being one of the best on your team
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
