The Member Service Representative works within an inbound call center to assist Columbia's members with all of their needs over the phone and through our electronic alternatives consistent with our policies and procedures. The role will combine excellent member service skills and the ability to effectively cross-sell products and services to benefit our members. The right person for this job is an enthusiastic team player with strong organizational skills. As we continue to grow the department and focus on convenient and easy access for our members, flexibility in scheduling is required and may include Saturdays. Remote potential after initial training period.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years, Customer Service. Contact/Call Center and Banking experience is preferred.
  • Remote option considered if located in Washington/Oregon.
  • Must be able to complete the first month of training onsite at Columbia Credit Union's Operations Center.
  • Must be available to consistently work hours of operation in the Call Center (8:00 am - 6:00 pm M-F, possible Saturdays)
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow through.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong PC skills, call center software experience a plus.
  • Sales skills, banking preferred.
