Corporate America Family Credit Union, a full service, nationwide credit union is seeking a Member Service Representative for our Crystal Lake, IL branch location. We are seeking an outgoing, energetic, problem solving individual, who can work well within a team environment and is willing to make a meaningful difference in the financial lives of our members. Our Member Service Representatives are the first point of contact for our members. In our Branch, you serve a critical role in our member experience and act as the voice of CAFCU. You'll assist with member questions about accounts, loans, online banking, processing transactions and more. You'll provide excellent service to ensure each and every member is extremely satisfied with their interaction. Successful candidates have a genuine interest in helping people and finding solutions to their needs. Enjoy a 4 day work week, off on Wednesdays and weekends!

Qualifications:

What makes you a great fit?

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year cash-handling experience as a teller/MSR in a credit union, bank or related field (previous retail, customer service and cash handling experience is preferred)
• Excellent math skills, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and effective consultative sales skills
• You are a goals-driven, people person
• You have professional manners when interacting with our members
• You are a good listener who can identify and evaluate members' financial needs and recommend the appropriate product solutions and services

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist/perform member’s financial transactions in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
• Analyze member requests to determine financial needs
• Cross sell products and services with a knowledgeable, enthusiastic approach to meet those needs
• Open New Accounts
• Assist Branch Manager in controlling delinquency
