Member Development Representative

Drive new member acquisition for the credit union and strengthen existing relationships with select employee groups, community partners, commercial accounts, auto dealers, RV/boat and motorcycle dealers, realtors and any other applicable groups.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain current knowledge of credit union philosophy, services and policies.

· Maintain contact with all present and future membership groups to encourage good relations and cooperation.

· Strive to meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals to increase membership and loans.

· Analyze opportunities to increase select employee group (SEG) base by researching the market.

· Negotiate with companies and community groups for new SEG membership by presenting information on available services such as personal and commercial deposit accounts, lines of credit, cash management, electronic banking, lending products or investment services as appropriate.

· Cultivate relationships with key personnel at existing SEGs and maintain all facets of the relationship.

- Develop and deliver formal presentations to SEGs to introduce the credit union to their employees, answer questions and provide a resource that encourages participation.

- Coordinate health savings account enrollment meetings with SEGs.

- Utilize and develop programs to increase membership penetration rate.

- Schedule and coordinate all on-site SEG calls with the company.

- Deliver correspondence and direct marketing programs

· Develop contact lists of potential new SEGs, businesses, dealers, brokers, or realtors in the credit union’s field of membership.

· Promote the credit union through visible participation in business networking, community and charitable organizations events and activities.

· Perform public relations at civic and community events when necessary.

· Monitor the budget for new member development to remain on track with projected expenses.

· Support the Director of Underwriting/Member Services to maintain CODE’s position as an auto loan provider through the indirect auto loan channel for new and existing credit union members.

· Work with key credit union personnel to manage the relationship between CODE and existing and prospective business account members.

· Work with the Director of Marketing and Business Development to develop and conduct member education programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
