Membership Manager
The Lensic Performing Arts Center seeks an experienced fundraiser for the position of Membership Manager. The Membership Manager will bring creativity and enthusiasm to cultivating, acquiring, and stewarding individual and business donors. This position reports to the Director of Development and works collaboratively with staff across departments. The Membership Manager plays a key role in ensuring Santa Fe’s treasured non-profit performing arts center can fulfill its mission through performances, education, and community programs.
Responsibilities include:
· Develop and implement a strategy for growing the individual and business membership programs
· writing compelling communications and materials
· planning and implementing membership campaigns
· donor research
· assisting with donor events
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of fundraising experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; computer skills (Microsoft Office/Word, Excel, Outlook); outstanding customer service skills; and knowledge of IRS rules related to contributions. The position requires the ability to manage multiple project deadlines with attention to detail. Occasional evening and weekend work required.
A bachelor’s degree and previous fundraising experience is required; experience with membership programs preferred.
