Adapt of Illinois, a progressive social services agency, seeks motivated mental health professionals to work in a rehabilitative setting in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago, IL.

This position involves providing recovery-based services to adults with chronic and severe mental illness. In this challenging and rewarding role you will:

• advocate for the needs of an underserved population
• conduct individual and group services to assist consumers in achieving recovery goals
• facilitate community placement and fulfill other case management duties
• document all clinical services provided

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field (2 years’ supervised experience in mental health setting required with non-related Bachelor’s degree)
• good time management and writing skills
• ability to work four 10-hour days per week including rotating weekends and holidays
• an interest in working in a team environment where clinical skill development is valued
• a strong desire to help individuals with mental illness recover lost skills and reduce stigma
