Who You Are
This position is responsible for facilitating counseling sessions, participating in intake processing, and assisting individuals in identifying and accessing recourse and/or services as appropriate. The ideal candidate will coordinate continuity of care and other treatment related services with caseworkers, probation officers, and other community and healthcare workers. They will participate in the Treatment Services multidisciplinary team to review cases, treatment approaches, clinical issues, progress, and recommendations. They will document services in the electronic health record system, provide community education, and maintain HIPAA and confidentiality according to all state and federal regulations.
This career is for you if you have:
- Master’s degree in a related field (i.e., psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or another social services field) for both levels.
- No experience required for the Trainee position.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Current licensure as Mental Health Associate Counselor and must obtain licensure to practice independently as a Mental Health Professional within three (3) years of hire for the Trainee.
- Current license as Mental Health Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker required for Mental Health Professional.
It’ll be a bonus if you have:
- Current Substance Use Disorder Professional Certification preferred.
- Experience in co-occurring disorders treatment preferred.
Upon hire, benefits offered include:
- Full wage scale for the Mental Health Professional Trainee position is $28.02 - $35.77 plus longevity. Typical hiring range is $28.02 - $30.90.
- Full wage scale for the Mental Health Professional position is $30.94 - $39.49 plus longevity. Typical hiring range is $30.94 - $34.11.
- Longevity Pay at 2.5% (10, 15, and 20 years for represented employees and 15 and 20 years for non-represented employees).
- Full-time workweek at 37.5 hours*
- Flexible work schedules / Remote work based on position and nature of the work.
- 13 Paid Holidays plus 1 personal day.
