What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate in the development of category, sub-category, product and SKU level pre-season, item-level sales and inventory plans that align with Duluth’s financial goals and open-to-buy targets
- Maintains monthly OTB financial plans at category and subcategory level
- Understands financial levers with ability to identify selling trends and recommends actions to maximize selling potential and minimize risk to inventory
- Ability to translate strategy to financial metrics (Entered / AUR / Units / GM / AUR / Prod / Turn)
- Revises and maintains in-season product level forecasts
- Manages in-season product appearances based on inventory availability and needs – which includes promotional recommendations and markdown strategy and execution
- Partners with cross functional team to prepare for key business reporting meetings such as weekly sales meetings, early commit meetings and business reviews. This includes the ability to understand how categories and subcategories impact division/brand and corporate goals
- Develops and fosters strong vendor and cross functional partnerships
- Places efficient buys that support company strategies and inventory efficiency goals
- Partners with Merchants to ensure inventory investments are fiscally responsible and support key merchandise strategies
- Seeks out opportunities to teach, mentor and learn new skills
- Embraces and promotes new tools, systems and processes that ladder to corporate growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Equivalent work experience would be considered
- 2-5 years of experience in inventory planning and forecasting
- Planning and Forecasting system experience
- Reporting tools experience, as well as Microsoft Excel
- Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results; requires proficiency in retail math
- Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Able to use logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
- Influencing & Negotiation: Can present ideas and directions at all levels of the organization that lead and influence others to action
- Systems and tools Acumen: Advanced in Microsoft Excel with an aptitude to learn multiple inventory applications
- Collaborations: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with cross functional partners

Compensation: $68,000+/Year
Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
