Job Summary:
This is a PART TIME Merchandising position at Fort Benning 10-15 hours weekly - the hour are very flexible; however, two Saturdays a month required (aprox. 5 hours). In this position you will stock merchandise, conduct inventories and ensure the store has merchandise needed. You will work independently on a flexible schedule you determine based on store needs, shipment arrivals, and stocking needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Maintain a professional working rapport with store management.
· Become familiar with tactical gear and assist management in determining need of new/varied items.
· Keep sales floor stocked and maintain organized backstock; identify and adjust over and understocked items with corporate office.
· Facilitate special order items and assist customers as needed.
· Use company provided tablet for stock assortment management.
· Follow base regulations at all times and retain a professional appearance and attitude.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Base access or ability to obtain legal base access
· Strong communication skills
· Previous merchandising, vendor, retail, or customer service experience preferred; volunteer experience also welcome
· Occasionally be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
