Formula Boats South is looking for an experienced Mercury Marine Technician to join our fast-growing Formula Authorized Service Center, located in Naples, Florida. We are seeking a team member to join our group who is highly driven, self-motivated and detail oriented. The person to fill this position must be a Certified Mercury Marine Technician with verifiable Mercury Marine experience as well as an intermediate skill level working on inboard and outboard motors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and installations
• Seek-out opportunities to generate revenue while performing maintenance
• Submit a complete and accurate work order, including parts request and all unit information, to ensure timeliness of job completion
• Perform duties within approved time frame and communicate expected delays with service manager
• Document and communicate any additional work needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and service units
• Complete designated work in a timely, competent and professional manner

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred and will include higher salary
• Must have Mercury Certification; however, sufficient experience with no certification may be considered if candidate is willing to attend applicable service schools to maintain certification and/or for continuing educational requirements
• Verifiable experience with general marine systems: Electrical, Water, Electronics, Troubleshooting
• Must be reliable, have excellent communication skills, able to take direction and solve problems
