PURPOSE

As a Meta Store Experience Expert, you will focus on creating a best-in-class in-store experience through immersive hands-on demos of our client’s AR/VR products and educating consumers & Metamates. You will be the face of our client’s brand on their campuses and represent cutting-edge technology that gives people the power to connect with friends and family, no matter the distance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Be a subject matter expert! Fully understand the features and benefits of our client’s products, including accessories and how to position them with every customer type
• Demonstrate VR products to customers and influence how they play, learn, and experience the world around them.
• Perform day-to-day operations, including but not limited to, opening and closing procedures, maintaining interactive consumer displays, and putting away product deliveries
• Achieve all goals and key performance indicators, in partnership with the Retail Manager
• Other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of customer-facing experience in retail
• Familiar with VR technology

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Extremely strong interpersonal communication - written, verbal, and on camera
• Must be results and detail-oriented
• Must have passion for technology and innovation
• Ability to ask effective questions and be an active listener
• High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work on time and travel between our clients' Burlingame & Menlo Park campuses up to 30% of the time
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccine

• Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation
