PURPOSE
As a Meta Store Experience Expert, you will focus on creating a best-in-class in-store experience through immersive hands-on demos of our client’s AR/VR products and educating consumers & Metamates. You will be the face of our client’s brand on their campuses and represent cutting-edge technology that gives people the power to connect with friends and family, no matter the distance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Be a subject matter expert! Fully understand the features and benefits of our client’s products, including accessories and how to position them with every customer type
- Demonstrate VR products to customers and influence how they play, learn, and experience the world around them.
- Perform day-to-day operations, including but not limited to, opening and closing procedures, maintaining interactive consumer displays, and putting away product deliveries
- Achieve all goals and key performance indicators, in partnership with the Retail Manager
- Other duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of customer-facing experience in retail
- Familiar with VR technology
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Extremely strong interpersonal communication - written, verbal, and on camera
- Must be results and detail-oriented
- Must have passion for technology and innovation
- Ability to ask effective questions and be an active listener
- High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work on time and travel between our clients' Burlingame & Menlo Park campuses up to 30% of the time
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccine

While performing the duties of this job, employees are required to:
- Regularly talk, sit, stand, walk, and bend over, repetitive use of hands/arms, repetitive use of legs and grasp
- Frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation
