JOB DESCRIPTION *
Peerless is seeking an entry-level SharePoint Developer to perform user management activities in support of DSOR II users. The candidate will assist in maintaining five SharePoint site collections, customize, configure, and design SP solutions in fulfillment of customer requirements; test, peer review, and deploy SP solutions. He/She will perform requirements analysis and conduct research to understand information requirements and generate technical solutions and confer and coordinate with stakeholders on requirements. The candidate will study process flows, data usage, and workflow processes to understand customer requirements and to assist in performing requirements definition, and document design by creating and using flowcharts, diagrams, process maps, charts, reports, and incorporate these documents into program documentation (i.e. Design Documents, SP Test Plan, etc.). He/She will utilize agile methodologies to build prototypes based upon user requirements and one-on-one customer interviews. And provide creative and innovative design solutions using Microsoft SharePoint, AgreeYa QuickApps for webparts, and Nintex Workflows by working individually or in a team environment. Also, working with CSS/HTML, building link buttons and headers to add graphics to the SharePoint webpages.
REQUIREMENTS
- An active NAC (government background investigation)
- Knowledge of SharePoint (web parts/usage and development/design)
- Advanced in MS Access and MS Excel
- Preferred: Two (2) years of VBA
- Has good research skills
- Likes a challenge, wants to see a requirement through to completion – responsible for it from inception to deployment
- Good customer relationship skills, works well individually and with a team
- Smart/quick learner/creative
- Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
