Mobile Medical Test Bus Driver provides patient care to the region by safely operating mobile patient testing vehicles. No California commercial passenger endorsement required.

Must have a clean driving record, must be able to pass the Department of Justice background check and Department of Transportation physical exam and drug screen. We will provide all necessary training for selected applicants. All employees are required to work weekends and holidays. Must be at least 21 years of age.

MUST BE WILLING TO BE AWAY FROM HOME 2-3 WEEKS AT A TIME!!!

DESCRIPTION OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Required to set up and break down site equipment and structures each day

• Provides safe operation of testing vehicles by complying with organizational policies and procedures and California Department of Motor Vehicle regulations.
• Monitors equipment by inspecting vehicles and test bus before and after use, determining their condition and documenting inspection results.
• Ensures operation of mobile unit and equipment by keeping equipment clean and maintained.
• Protects customers by safely directing individuals around the test site.
• Enhances company image by maintaining positive relationships with testing staff and customers.
• Promotes test site cooperation and efficiency.
• Protects patients and staff by performing basic disinfection and sanitation in and around lab.
• Ensure OSHA guidelines are followed by demonstrating and understanding the principles of infection control practices.
• Supports departmental operations by completing other duties as assigned or requested.

Professional and Technical Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class B California Commercial Driver’s License Required with Air Brakes Endorsement (preferred)
• Experience driving a commercial bus (preferred).

Physical Demands:

• Moves in and out of the mobile test bus and other rooms. Will operate test bus for good portion of work day.
• Will need to travel as required by the mobile test services bus/community demands.
• Some bending and stooping required. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds. Over 50 pounds requires assistance.
• Requires manual dexterity to maneuver for handling test bus and office equipment.
• Visual activity required to respond and react to roadway observations and to physical changes while assisting with mobile test bus tasks.
• Eye and hand coordination and finger dexterity needed to perform vehicle maneuvers, entering data, and reviewing information.

Starting pay - $28/hour minimum 8 hours/day, 5 days/week plus overtime, per diem and benefits.
