Shift/Hours:- DAYS - 8HR: Monday-Thursday 8:00a-5:00p, Friday 7:30a-4:30p
Job Description:
- Provide patient monitoring support and direct patient care.
- Maintain records and documents of cardiac rhythm for nursing staff.
- Observe and interpret cardiac rhythm of patients.
- Post and interpret rhythm strips at regular intervals.
- Perform lead placement on patients.
- Report any changes in latest and previous strips to nurse.
- Recognize and respond to abnormal patient condition.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- The applicant for this position can expect to perform ETT exams on a 30-min schedule. This includes prepping for the exam, explaining the procedure, performing the stress test with blood pressures, recovering the patient, preparing the preliminary report and delivering the stress strips to the reading physician.
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of EKG rhythms.
- Must have Experience in the stress component of Stress Echo.
- Should be able to communicate well with physicians, managers and coworkers.
- Knowledge of the Epic EMR is helpful but not required.
- The Synapse Fuji PACS system is used for report preparation.

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
