Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator - Mental Health and Homelessness Job at Orange County Government
Responsible for monitoring and evaluating programs and services; establishing and implementing internal control and invoicing systems to monitor federal contract compliance. This position ensures program compliance and recommends efficiency and effectiveness measures to improve program and contract performance. This position requires independent judgement and is performed under the general supervision of an assigned supervisor.
- Assists in the development and preparation of all monitoring tools, to include strategic planning for program implementation
- Collect and analyze data as requested
- Monitors service areas within the division to ensure contract compliance
- Review agency specific audits
- Develop and maintain internal fiscal reports for monthly invoicing
- Review and track monthly invoicing
- Assists in coordinated efforts to ensure quality assurance standards are met
- Collaborate with the department’s fiscal team
- Works externally with providers of homeless services
Bachelor's degree in social services, public administration, public health, business administration or equivalent and two years of experience in program planning and development; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
- Knowledge of the Homeless Continuum of Care in Orange County
- Monitoring experience, background in fiscal support
- Demonstrated monitoring and evaluation skills, including planning/participating in evaluations
