BPN Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an MRI Technologist for a Temp to perm/Direct hire situation.

Shifts available:

• 4x9s Tues-Fri 1500-0030
• 3x12s Monday 1100-2330 and Sat/Sun 0800-2030
• 3x12s, Wednesday/Thursday 0700-1930 and Friday 0800-2030
• 4x9s Mon-Thurs 600-1530
• 2x12s Sat-Sun 0730-20000

Job Summary:

• Scan a wide variety of exams, the primary patient population is adult Inpatients and ED patients.
• Able to maintain a safe MRI environment with a focus on safety and patient care.
• Occasional stroke protocol for both IP and ED patients.

*The candidate will need to be proficient with Siemens 1.5T MRI

MRI Technologist Responsibilities:

• Analyzing patient histories and completing screenings for pacemakers and injuries where metal objects were involved.
• Preparing and administering contrast dyes.
• Addressing patients’ concerns and ensuring that they are comfortable and calm during scans.
• Performing regular inspections of the MRI equipment and machines, and scheduling maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Positioning the patients and completing MRI scans according to the physicians' specifications.

Physical Requirements: An MRl Technologist will frequently be required to stretch, bend, twist, squat, and kneel in performing diagnostic procedures. Lifting, pushing, pulling and gripping may be required for positioning patients and maneuvering equipment. Vision and bearing for distances of at least 20 feet is necessary. Significant walking will be required, as approximately 60% of work time will be while standing. 40% will be spent operating computers and equipment requiring significant manual dexterity and use of the hands. Communication skills, both oral and written, are essential components to job performance.

Requirements:

• Must have 1 year of recent MIR Technologist Experience!
• Must have valid BLS (American Heart Association)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Proof of covid vaccine

Pay: $28.00 - $48.77 per hour
