We are seeking candidates for our Nail Technician/Manicurist position who are interested in helping our team improve your clients' appearance through nail care. As a Nail Technician, you will fulfill client appointments, both scheduled and walk-ins. Our Nail Technicians also work closely with our managers to create new nail designs and develop revenue-generating strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare clients for manicures and pedicures.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments used in the service of nail care. (This will most often be done for you)
- Be familiar with all nail care products used in salon.
- Polish nails.
- Apply artificial nail enhancements (such as acrylic, dip powder, gel nails).
- Remove artificial nail enhancements from natural nails.
- Remove artificial nail enhancements from fingers and toes.
- Manicure hands and feet.
- Apply cuticle cream to fingers.
- Remove cuticles from fingers.
- File, buff, shape, and polish nails.
- Manicure hands and feet.
- Engage in staff/client communication to ensure you are meeting client needs and building a rapport to have them return.
- Keep a professional attitude, environment and appearance while in the salon.
- Make client suggestions for continued maintenance, upgrades where you see fit and possibly plan for next visit.
