Full-Time Nanny for our newborn son. The nanny would typically be needed Tuesday - Saturday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Our family travels for business on occasion and they would need the nanny to travel with us. Our family will be opening another boat dealership in Seneca, SC in April and the nanny would need to travel with the family 2 days per week.

The best nanny for our family would be reliable, flexible, professional, organized, and experienced in caring for infants. It is important for the nanny to value open communication with the family and to be able to work together with the mom and dad. Our nanny should be able to provide nurturing, enriching, and loving care to their child daily. We are looking for a nanny who will be able to meet and exceed their child’s daily needs, and be creative in coming up with fun activities to do with him inside and outside of the home. The activities throughout the day should keep the child engaged and encourage his overall growth and development. These activities include, but are not limited to reading, playing with toys, tummy time, developmental and sensory activities, arts and crafts, taking walks, and more. Our son is quite young now and these activities will evolve as he grows. The family would also like to find a nanny who can do house management tasks while their son is asleep. Our family is looking for a long-term nanny who will ultimately become a part of our family.

Our family lives on the lake, so the nanny should be able to swim and be vigilant about water safety as their child grows.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (feeding, changing, napping)

Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level

Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

Doing hands on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority, the family has a weekly cleaning service):

Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly

Child’s meal prep

Unloading/loading dishwasher

Wiping down kitchen counters

Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

Emptying diaper trash

Light housework

Home projects

Holiday shopping

Pets - The family has a well-trained hypoallergenic goldendoodle. The dog will typically go to work with the parents. If the dog is at home, the nanny will need to feed and let the dog outside, as needed.

Qualifications:

Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

Have a college degree or equivalent experience

Have a professional resume

Fill out a complete online application

Pass a pre-screening interview

Pass a national background check, including driving record check

Have a valid driver’s license

Have safe and reliable transportation

Have a minimum of three professional references

Be non smoking/vaping

CPR and First Aid Certified

Must be able to swim

Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

Must have the TDAP vaccine prior to starting the position

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

This position starts December 5th 2022 (on a part time basis) and then full time January 10th

Legal pay is offered at $20 - $23 an hour, depending on experience

Continued pay while family is away

5 days of PTO (2nd year would be 10 days)

3 Paid Sick Days
