Job description : Long term and full-time Nanny/Housekeeper position. Live-out preferred but open to live-in.

Working days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 7am to 6pm (flexible)
Children: 10 year old twins and 5 year old child
Salary: $1,000 weekly
Benefits: 2 weeks vacation, 4 sick days, 6 holidays

About the family
Loving and active family in Morristown, NJ is seeking a long term, full -time and preferably live-out Nanny/Housekeeper. Their current nanny lives-in however they would prefer the new nanny to be live-out. She is leaving the position in two weeks since she is going back to her home country so they are looking to hire as soon as possible. Family is composed of 10 year old twins (boy and girl), a 5 year old boy and parents. Their 10 year old son has cerebral palsy which affects his mobility, making him use a wheelchair. Mom does not work so she is around to assist and help with the transition to the new nanny.

A Typical Day
The three children are in school full-time until 3/4pm. During the day when the children are in school, the candidate would assist in light housekeeping such as doing the family’s laundry and putting away the children’s clothes (parents put their own laundry away), organizing the pantry, assisting with meal prep, keeping the children’s areas such as the playroom and bedroom clean and tidy. Family has a cleaning person who comes once or twice a month to clean the house. The schedule would remain the same during the summer since the 10 year old boy goes to school camp for 6 weeks, the 5 year old goes to day camp around 8:15am and comes home around 4:30pm, and their 10 year old daughter goes to sleep away camp.

About the candidate
The ideal candidate has long term commitment experience and who is strong enough to assist in lifting their son from the wheelchair. Anyone with a back injury will not be a good fit for this position. Special needs experience is not required for this position. They are only considering candidates who live within 30 minutes away from their home for a live-out option. They will not consider anyone who lives in Bergen County as they believe the commute is too far. Preferably someone who can drive their own car (family would reimburse money for gas). A candidate with housekeeping experience would be ideal for this position.
