Job Description:

Analyze, maintain, and improve organizational performance through project design, leadership, and management to ensure performance and process development. Analyze existing systems and business processes, identify process and system improvement strategies, and provide project management services. Translate business requirements into a solution design using recognized Business Analysis techniques and deliverables. Work with operational leaders to ensure accurate operational data entry needed for proper operational metrics. Create, maintain, and refresh operational KPI's. Work cross-functionally with other departments to drive efficiencies. Prepare and deliver recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures, a strategic and analytical mindset, an excellent communicator with top-notch presentation skills and a thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.

Job Qualifications

Experience:

• 4+ years of working experience in a Transportation Environment as a Business Analyst
• Demonstrated project execution experience
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Expert or proficient with system/application design and end user support
• Expert or proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to develop and document requirements and specifications
• Ability to communicate in both technical and user-friendly language
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work as a team player
• Ability to lead and/or mentor others

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Computer Science
• Experience with Business Intelligence and Analytic Toolsets
• Transportation Operations experience
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task as a team player
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Self-Motivated

Responsibilities:

• Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems
• Create and distribute user manuals, instruction & guides in support of user training
• Provide guidance and/or instruction to junior/new employees
• Conduct end user reviews with an eye towards improving end user performance
• Contribute to continuous learning by posting content to the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Additional duties as assigned by management
