National Sales Representative
Teq has been serving K-12 institutions for over 50 years. For most of that history, we have been focused on the Northeast U.S. In the past 4 years we have begun expanding our reach across the Southeast and Midwest. We have a growing stable of excellent field representatives spread through the area, and we are looking for great teammates to join them in sharing our solutions with K-12 schools.
Our National Sales Representatives oversee territories that cover multiple states and work in coordination (not competition) with the field representatives to grow the book of business. We compensate our team on a percentage of revenue and there are no caps on our commission plans; if you keep selling, we will keep paying.
Our product portfolio has three components: 1) Our homegrown professional development and project-based learning solutions, 2) An array of curated STEM products, and 3) SMART brand interactive flat panels.
This position is On-Site in our Huntington Station, NY office. As a smaller company, we have always thrived when we collaborate and jointly solve problems. We believe the best way to do that is to be around others to learn new skills, share stories & tips, and work together to address problems. Being together in our office accelerates all those areas of focus and creates better customer outcomes.
Pay and Perks:
- $50,000 Base Salary & UNCAPPED Commission

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships through proactive account management at the partner and end user levels
- Actively prospect new customers, introducing Teq’s products, services and learning solutions through a high volume of customer interactions
- Create strategic and organized territory plans to help achieve revenue targets
- Build and manage your pipeline
- Enter and accurately update opportunities within Teq’s CRM
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Research and understand the customer you are calling and the state they are in
