Position: School-Based Treatment QMHP-type

The position is a school-based, trauma-sensitive counseling service. Staff use behavior modification, cognitive-behavioral therapy, onsite crisis management, and structured pro-social skill curriculum (e.g., problem-solving, anger management, impulse control, and appropriate peer relations). Our goal is to help children and adolescents manage their behaviors and cope with stressors in the school setting to learn more effectively.

Qualifications:

Related Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (preferred) from an Accredited College or University

OR a 60 credit hour Master’s Degree and are pursuing professional licensure.

Candidate must be qualified to register (or is currently registered) as a QMHP-C or QMHP-Trainee with the VA Board of Counseling.

*Sign on bonus is subject to successful completion of 90 day probationary period.
