Hi, Caregivers!
Staffing Studio is assisting a lovely growing family in Gloucester with their search for a new full time nanny! Their current nanny (very much loved by all family members) will be moving on in pursuit of a different career path after the holidays. Mom and Dad are looking for an experienced caregiver to join their team starting January 3rd, 2023. The role will be primarily be caring for one happy toddler while mom and dad work from home in separate office spaces. The family will also be welcoming a new baby this April, so newborn experience is preferred! Ideal candidates have lots of experience caring for babies and toddlers, are active & engaging, can follow the family's lead on scheduling and style, and love outdoor adventures with kiddos! The family lives walking distance to beaches, trails, playgrounds and will reimburse the nanny weekly for any outings with the children. We are looking for a responsible professional with great communication skills that will be comfortable becoming a collaborative part of the family.
Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8am - 5pm, Fridays: 8am - 1pm
Charges: 20 month old boy, new baby due in April
Rate: $27.00/hour
Benefits: 3 weeks PTO (details during interview process), 5 paid sick days, paid holidays
Start Date: Januare 3rd 2023
Job description:
- Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children
- Facilitating age appropriate developmental activities- crafts, singing, reading, etc.
- Indoor and outdoor play
- Taking the children for walks and outings to playgrounds, libraries, beaches, museums, etc.
- Maintaining a tidy work space and cleaning up after the day
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children
- Helping with the children's laundry
- Organizing and tidying children's spaces
- Transporting the children in your own vehicle
- Pick ups and drop offs as needed
- Maintaining a consistent routine and schedule
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- LOVES WORKING WITH TODDLERS AND BABIES
- Organized, scheduled, motivated and task-driven
- MUST BE VACCINATED AGAINST THE FLU AND COVID-19
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Cheery and Helpful Disposition
- Background Check (provided by agency)
- Driving Record (provided by agency)
- Takes good direction on parenting style and family's routine, then requires minimal to no oversight.
